#4: Big Vision
No eye exam or prescription needed! Enlarge objects for a bigger, clearer view without distortion with the Big Vision glasses. Get Big Vision
Big Vision Big Vision magnifying glasses make everything larger and clearer using 160% magnification lenses. Since I have now tried others, I would recommend this one. The other glasses I tried did not work nearly as well. Also, they are not to be used for an extended period of time. Just to complete the task at hand.

  1. You can get magnifying reading glasses at the dollar stores, the power goes up to 3.00. The product shown is at 1.5 medium/low as far as glasses go. 2.25-2.75 are great for seeing small details. I keep a pair in the kitchen since the print on packaging these days is so small.

    1. Can the Thin Optics be worn with regular eyeglasses? Looked at the website but did not see anything about that...

  3. Bought them for my mother and they worked really well. However, they broke after a short time. Lots of plastic on the glassess.

  4. I love my "Big Vision" glasses! I have worn glasses since I was 4, and am extremely near-sighted, but due to age I am now losing my up-close vision too. Traditional "readers" do not work for me since I still need to wear my regular eyeglasses, but sometimes I need the additional magnification. These "Big Vision" glasses fit my needs! I can wear them OVER my regular eyeglasses, giving me the little bit extra needed for "up-close", and I don't have to keep removing my regular eyeglasses. My normal lenses are at about -6 on one eye, -6.5 on the other. For my bifocal lenses, the add is about +1.5, which would require the readers to be about -4.5 (note that readers are + not -). My regular eyeglasses correct my vision to as near to 20/20 as they can get it, and work for most purposes... but even though I wear "progressive bifocals the "fine print" is still not clear. By adding the "Big Vision" glasses when needed, I can now have the "up-close" when I need it, without having to spend another 500-600 for a second pair of bifocals with stronger add.

  6. I LOVE my "Big Vision" magnifying glasses!
I am actually VERY near sighted and I currently wear VERY strong progressive bifocals. However, at times I still need a little more "add" to the magnification. Rather than spend another 500-600 for an alternate pair of progressives (with a stronger add) for limited use, I just put on my "Big Vision" magnifying glasses over my regular eyeglasses when I need to see the "fine print".
