Blue book is a general idea on what a coin deealr may pay you for a coin. Coin prices change constantly.If you are looking to grade a coin you can send it in to be slabbed but sometimes you pay more for the slab than the coin is worth. A good guide for grading is photograde. If your into error coins pick up the cherrypicker’s guide.PS the coin in PR65 Cameo is only worth $32 retail. A deealr may pay $20 or $15. That is more than the silver price.

Everybody needs to think about something. They say that they are also giving you a military briefing pack from the Navy SEAL mission. NOT possible. That kind of stuff is highly classified and the military would not release that kind of stuff, and it does not look like a pamphlet as it does in the commercial. This is a total scam and as a U.S. veteran, I am sickened by these kind of people who try to make money off of the military and their sacrifices.

My dad worked in FLA space program early 60′s. 30 years later in wash dc after retirement he was a govt contractor, same job better moneyhe was declassifying stuff he worked with when it first was made classified. As a kid all I ever saw was typed stacks of paper as he put in & out of his briefcase. Very quickly. As an adult I glimpsed from the door way, it looked the same except with lots of heavy black lines! Finding: SCAM

when you place an order, they promise they will refund your money if you are not very satisfied and they even promise you that the coin are Gold 100% (Gold coin for $29 yehhh).
Their coin are colored yellow to like like gold and they advetis it as “Pure Gold”

Ok this was a good video. Though this guy has misstated a few hgints. First the top 4 grading companies should be PCGS, NGC, ANACS, AND ICGS. Second, a mint state coins is not a coin that has never been touched. A mint state starts off has coins with ware, but can have blemishes, scratches, and bag marks. Third, eBay is ok to use, just watch out for ratings, if they guarantee returns, and never buy from China
Scam or not .. this is profiteering at it’s finest. How much of the profit goes to the SEALs, their families, 9/11 victim’s funds, or even Wounded Warrior Project or the like.
Ebay is safe for the seasoned clcelotor because they know what to look for and what effects a coins value. A not so seasoned you may get tricked into buying a slabbed NTC that is rated a MS66 but is way off. My advice Ebay is good for small purchases and sometimes base value metal. If you want your dream coin find a more reputable offline outfit.

The 1874 gold $1 had a mintage of 198,800 so is up there crapmoed to other dates. It has a value of $115 in grade fine to $190 in grade extra fine. In mint state the coin is worth $250 and up depending of its mint state grade. Values are about what a dealer would pay. When gold is higher the values go up.
DO NOT BUY THIS COIN. The company does not give a single penny to ANY 9/11 Responder, survivor/victim, their families or wounded soldiers. When I called to question them, I was told all the money goes to the company. When I said that it was wrong to do this, they hung up on me.

I agree with them not giving $ to soilder or their families etc.. ijust wanted a reminder a reminder of what our country went thru and the seemed decent. After reading how this company has ripped people off and/or charged extra $ to someones account i will prob not make the purchase. I thought I wanted these coins and was in the middle of purchasing when I backed out and told them I did not want the coins. I just looked at my bank account and they have me charged for the coins. They are a shady company if you ask me and I’m fixin to get to the bottom of it. They’re going to return my money or else!!!

I was impressed by the coins because they are a keepsake, but I did not receive both orders and paying 39.90 for the coins was fine; the shipping costs of 51.69 was excessive to say the least!

I was going to buy the coins for my grand child who is too young to remember any of this, but after the experiences everyone had I wonder who the company really is (China?, Talaban? Who?). Its not a scam when you know that if your paying $19.95 for a gold coin and get a silver coin free that they can’t be real gold and sliver. They are not going to sell something like that so cheap. They are just what they say they are is commemorative coins. They are just pretty coins to remember something by. Now whether you think its a horrible thing to make from a horrific thing that happened then don’t buy them but some like them to remember a time when yes something bad happened but where a nation stood together and fought back. I know if I was to buy these coins that they in no way are going to grow in metal value but maybe in a commemorative value to someone that thinks the same way.
