Stompeez Review:
The slippers are cute and adorable. However, due to overwhelming demand, the company does not enjoy good reviews online. Many have reported delayed shipments of the product — as far as we can tell, you should expect 2-4 weeks for delivery. Please plan accordingly. We do not want you to order and expect it by Christmas.
We did call a few people that ordered. They do have a back order situation; but all of the people we contacted are getting assistance to the best of their ability. In addition, our search online turns up more information that suggests the company is trying to correct any and all problems.
“UPDATE- SEE POST 28. Stompeez went out of their way to make things right for us. I’m no longer “warning” anyone, except about the backorder issue which you may have to deal with due to the demand for these slippers. DD is now sporting a pair of Stompeez which she would wear everywhere if we let her, and they fit fine (enough) and work perfectly. They are adorable. We may even order another pair.”²
It is not a scam, but understand that due to overwhelming demand they have a huge back-order issue.
On their website they have this message:
“Due to overwhelming demand, All orders placed after December 5th, 2011 can not be guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas.”

WORST company I have EVER ordered from. I ordered on Nov 17th. Called over 10 times and was told each time that they were guaranteed by Christmas. Called on the 22nd and was told that they were not shipped yet and that they take 4-5 days to ship so I would not get them. Asked for a supervisor who told me they would upgrade to overnight shipping and that I would have them by Christmas. Called the morning of the 23rd and was told they were shipping off that morning via overnight shipping. Called again in the afternoon since I had not gotten a tracking number and she said she couldn’t tell if they had been shipped and the site would not update for 24-48 hours. They did not come and they are still closed. I tried to e-mail, but got a failure notice. I want to cancel my order since they were a Christmas present, but it won’t let me do it online and the number to cancel is closed for the Holidays. Don’t waste you time unless you have 3-4 months to wait before you get them. I did report them to the BBB and would encourage all others who had the same problem to do so. All they had to do was tell me the first time I called that they were backordered and not guaranteed by Christmas and I would have been fine. I already had slippers for them (that I returned after being guaranteed delivery before Christmas). I think people would have been less upset if they had just told them they were not guaranteed and given them the option to cancel or try to see if they come in time. Poor business management or money hungry.
I would not recommend these. I ordered 4 pair of Stompez on Nov 21
and was promised in two weeks never got them. Called and girl said they was shipped week before Christmas but never got them. Called the 21st of Dec and girl told me would be shipped that day and I should get no later than 24th for sure. Well guess what no stompeze. I called Tuesday after Christmas and the guy I talk to said had not been shipped and still waiting on a size to come in. I cancelled order at that point. Sent email to customer service with no avail never responded to me. I never during this whole time got no email from stompeze.No conformation on order ,no email on back order….nothing. So I do not recommend them or will not order from them again.
I have the same complaint. Ordered 2 pairs for 2 different addreses. For Christmas of course. Ordered in late November. One pair got there Jan.6th. Still waiting on the other. Horrible customer service. Calls sent overseas of course and they dont give you any info other than its being processed. I will bad mouth this company for the rest of my days!
Awful communication. I ordered 2 pair on Nov 17th. Guaranteed delivery by Christmas. Wrong. One pair showed up in February. Come March was still waiting for the other pair. They were for my nieces. So I cancelled and found the other pair on Ebay for the same price. Good concept but they should have been prepared or at least actually closed down ordering when they were sold out. Other people who ordered after me got theirs before me. They need to learn how to run a business.

If I could give this company 0 stars I absolutely would. I ordered these slippers as a Santa gift for my daughter and my son this year. Of course due to the popularity, I placed my order in early December to ensure that I recieved them before the big day since this was the #1 item on both of my kids Santa list. I ordered online and all went well. They were shipped in a reasonable amount of time. I was so excited about securing the big item and tucked them away in my closet. Well come Christmas morning all that excitement turned to big time disappointment when my son could not even get his foot in his stompeez. I went back to the website to ensure that I ordered correctly. I did! The sizing requirements say that a medium fits sizes 11.5-4. My son is a size 3, these should definitely fit. It broke my heart to see my son’s dissappointed face as his sister stomped around the living room in her new slippers, but I assured him that I could just call the Stompeez people and tell them that Santa got the wrong size. WRONG!!!! I spoke to them today and according to their policy you only have 7 days from the day that you recieve the item to exchange and your product. I explained that surely with the Christmas holiday they would have some sort of exception since it is not like parents can try the slippers on their kids before Christmas morning. After much complaining a supervisor said that they would let me exchange them but I have to pay shipping. I HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING! Are you kidding me. This was not my mistake. I, in good faith, ordered slippers that this company said would fit my child and they don’t. That is the bottom line.
Oh, and they don’t work that well to begin with. My daughter seems to be satisfied, but really they don’t work they way they show on TV. The ears on her puppy don’t pop all the way, when they pop up at all.
I wouldn’t suggest this product to anyone!!
