Cut-n-Cup Pros/Cons?

Pros

  • Quick easy way to chop food

Cons

  • Works best for smaller dishes

Cut-n-Cup Review:

Mushrooms, Potatoes, Strawberries, Onions, Carrots, Chop it All!

If I saw this product on a shelf, I’d probably never buy it. That’s because it is hard to understand how to use it. Chef Tony does a good job showcasing it. Also, Chef Tony generally produces good products. And the Cut-n-Cup does not disappoint.

We give it a huge ‘try it’ if you primarily make smaller dishes; or dishes that need small amounts of food that needs to be chopped.

For example, if you buy spaghetti marinara sauce and like to add more garlic or even light vegetables to the mix — this may be a good product for you.

If you plan on heavy-duty salad making for large families — the coping mechanism is a little slow for big dishes.

Not only did the Cut n Cup not work as shown in the demo but VERY sharp shards broke off the Cup and ended up in our soup. When I complained, I was told to send the Cup back and they would refund my money. Shipping the Cup back cost $8.34. Added to the original cost of $34.86, I was out $43.20. My “refund” was $16.89. On a rating of 1 to 10, this item would be a -50. Don’t waste your money on this rip off.

When I started the process I noted that the price for 1 Cut N Cup and one free was $14.95, plus $7.95 P & Handling. However, when I got to the last page the price was $30.85.
I do not want to pay for something that was not noted before the payment. Please cancel my order.

I had to learn the hard way that when a “specil offer” is advertised as buy one get one free, that you have to pay seperate shipping and handling. This adds just under $20 to the purchase price. Why should seperate shipping and handling be necesary? The original S&H should cover it. It is a racket.

Beware there is a 15.00 shipping and handling … that isl, it is more expensive the handle and ship than the item costs. Had I known that I would not have invested in it. Look elsewhere.

It is apparent that every review written above includes frustrations. However, due to the countless grammatical errors, creditably seems to be lacking. I recommend reading given information thoroughly before submitting a purchase. This particular product is “as seen on T.V.” and is prone to be faulty.

The website for ordering is not user friendly–instead of getting to a shopping cart and checking your purchase to verify it is as many as you want, by the time you get there, you have already purchased this item. That would be great, if it worked as advertised. I ended up with 6 shipped to me, I wanted 1 and the free one. Very poor quality blades, couldnt even cut through a mushroom demonstrated on TV. The blades are also very loose, and so they fall off frequently. When trying to return, they refused to reimburse for the 4 extra purchased items, even though their website makes it impossible to know you have ordered. I returned 4 items (shipping at my cost, for $8) to be reimbursed $10 (they seem to forget I was returning 2). And, no one ever seems to be working to answer the phone

I like using the cut n cup but you need to design a better way to attach the blades mine keeps falling off during my using it.
